The Groop Creates New Brand Identity for House of Balsamic

The Groop, the Los Angeles based digital agency known for creative and innovative user experience design, announces the launch of www.HouseofBalsamic.com. House of Balsamic aimed to enter the U.S. market and approached The Groop to create a new brand identity.
House of Balsamic provides a line of Malpighi Traditional Balsamic Vinegars produced in Italy. Unlike common household balsamic vinegars, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar may only be produced in specified microclimates and must be aged no less than 12 years to meet standards of accreditation. House of Balsamic looked to create the same Italian culture of Balsamic in the United States.

The Groop crafted their design around the lifestyle of Balsamic, a word whose actual definition characterizes health, well-being and enjoyment of life. The word can be used to define food, wine, travel, books, planes, sailboats and things of inspiration and harmony. The Groop created this new brand identity for House of Balsamic across multiple platforms including a Drupal based website capable of delivering products through e-commerce and a brand video shot on-site in Italy. The Groop also implemented their brand concepts and designs in photography, product labels, letterheads, web design, and digital media to relate and connect with users who shared the same ideals.

House of Balsamic continues to engage their users by hosting tastings, cocktail events and charity benefits. Under construction is their House of Balsamic Academy located in Irvine, CA.
